Volunteer Meeting

Cuivre River State Park will host a volunteer meeting at the park’s visitor center for existing volunteers and anyone wishing to learn more about becoming a volunteer at the park. Staff will update volunteers on upcoming volunteer projects and opportunities, as well as give a sneak peak into events for the 2019 season. Some possible projects include invasive bush honeysuckle removal, assisting with educational programs or special events, small maintenance projects on park buildings or trail maintenance.  The park is also taking applications for volunteer campground hosts.  For information about the volunteer meeting or to learn more about campground hosting, call the park office at 636-528-7247 or visit the events listing on the park Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CuivreRiverStatePark.
