A Saunter in the Autumn Landscape

11/10/2018 | Graham Cave State Park | Danville, MO

Fall is finally here! Setting along the northern Ozarks and Loutre River Valley, the park is recognized for colorful fall foliage. Join Naturalist Lorie Volenberg for a saunter through upland and riparian woodlands to explore fall colors and try your hand at tree leaf identification. Volenberg will lead this 3-mile moderate hike that combines two of the park’s more popular trails: Indian Glade Trail and Loutre River Trail. Meet at the lower picnic shelter parking lot. Hikers are encouraged to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, bring a bottle of water, and dress in layers.

Hike time: 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
