24th Annual Halloween Happenings

10/27/2018 | Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park | Middle Brook, MO

This annual event kicks off with a pumpkin hunt at 7 a.m. Campers will have the day to search for pumpkins to earn some great prizes. Be forewarned, the winning pumpkins will be hard to find! Later that evening, kids will have the opportunity to trick or treat from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., hosted by the campers. Costume judging will be from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., followed by the pumpkin carving contest judging at 7:15 p.m. Prizes in both events will be awarded to first, second and third place winners for kids and adults.

The evening program will be a team trivia night contest. The contest will be at 7:30 p.m. at the campground amphitheater. Prizes will be given to first, second and third place teams. Bring the whole family!

Campers are encouraged to decorate their campsites! A campsite decorating contest with first, second and third place winners will be judged Saturday evening and prizes will be given out at the evening program.
