Washington State Park interpretive staff will present a program on meteors and meteor viewing - just in time for the Perseid meteor shower this weekend! Come to the program to learn about this space display and be sure to watch the meteor shower during peak hours (Sunday, Aug. 12 between 2 a.m. and sunrise).

- 7 a.m. - Biscuits and Gravy Fundraiser Breakfast by Friends of Washington State Park - Campground Host Site
The Friends of Washington State Park will be serving up breakfast! The biscuits and gravy breakfast will take place at the campground host site (Site #1). All visitors are invited to attend. Suggested donation for the breakfast is $2.50 per plate. All proceeds will go directly to the Friends of Washington State Park.
- 8 a.m. - Bird Walk - Petroglyph Glade
Join Washington State Park interpretive staff for an early morning bird walk on the petroglyph site glade! Listen for bird calls, spot native species and enjoy the hike on this beautiful landscape.
