It’s the dog days of summer here at Graham Cave, and many of our native flowering plants don’t mind the heat. Join us on a .5-mile , moderate to rugged hike, on Fern Ridge and Graham Cave trails to see the flowers of dog days in bloom. Bring your cameras, your notepads and any flower identification books you might desire to have on the hike. Meet near the picnic shelter in the lower parking lot. Hikers are encouraged to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and to bring a bottle of water. Insect repellent is strongly recommended.
Hike time: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
