Join Naturalist Lorie Volenberg on a 3-mile moderate, level, guided wildflower hike that combines two of the park’s trails: Indian Glade Trail and Loutre River Trail. This hike will go through both upland and bottomland woodlands allowing you to compare the differences between the two ecosystems.
Bring your cameras, your notepads and any flower identification books you might desire to have on the hike. Meet at the lower picnic shelter parking lot. Hikers are encouraged to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes, and to bring a bottle of water. Insect repellent is also recommended.
