All Bark, No Bite - The Trees of Ha Ha Tonka

6/15/2018 | Ha Ha Tonka State Park | Camdenton, MO

While hiking the trails, have you ever wondered what type of trees surround you? Have you noticed that different trees are found in different areas of the park? We will be discussing all of this and more in our “Tree ID” program. We will learn what they are, what communities they are found in, and what role they play in their habitats.

Meet at the lake parking lot. We will be going on a short hike down Spring Trail, so be sure to bring your hiking shoes. To get to the lake parking lot from Highway 54, turn onto State Road D and continue approximately 2.7 miles to Tonka Spring Road. The lake parking lot is the first right turn.
