The park’s annual Halloween event at the campground is mainly for registered campers, though it is open to local visitors. There will be an outdoor movie and campfire on Friday night and a scavenger hunt, coloring contest, pumpkin carving contest, scariest campsite contest, afternoon naturalist presentation, and an outside dance on Saturday.
