Welcome Back Spring Hike

3/24/2018 | Graham Cave State Park | Danville, MO

Come and celebrate the arrival of spring by taking a .7-mile, moderate difficult, interpretive hike with naturalist Lorie Volenberg. Learn about what flowers are starting to bloom, their various life cycles, and what roles these plants may have had with the Native Americans, who once lived on these lands. Bring your cameras, your notepads and any flower identification books you might desire to have on the hike. Hikers are encouraged to dress in layers, wear sturdy, closed toe shoes and to bring a bottle of water. Meet at the lower shelter parking lot. Insect repellent is also recommended.
