Arrow Rock's New Neighbors: Eastern Bluebirds!

The Missouri River Bird Observatory (MRBO) will be presenting a lecture on Missouri’s Bluebirds and other native cavity-nesting species. They will be focusing on the importance of monitored bluebird trails and how the local community can get more involved. MRBO will be installing two nest boxes for the purpose of getting local kids involved in citizen science. Join them in learning how you can contribute to this project!

Audience: Arrow Rock and the surrounding area community members

  • Different types of nest boxes
  • Proper installation and monitoring of nest boxes
  • Info about MRBO’s use of bluebird boxes to local youth in citizen science
