First Day Hike - Sinkhole and Devil's Icebox

1/1/2018 | Rock Bridge Memorial State Park | Columbia, MO

Hike Sinkhole Trail and part of Devil's Icebox Trail (moderate, 1.5 miles). The interpreter will show you hidden historic features and share park history. Also, see the Devil's Icebox and the rock bridge. It's optional to explore in Connor's Cave and/or inside the rock bridge. Learn about karst geology.

This event is free. Reservations are required because space is limited. When you call 573-449-7400, you will be given driving directions to the meeting location. Reservations for First Day Hikes at Rock Bridge can be made now through 5 p.m. on Dec. 29, but will not be taken on Dec. 30, 31 or Jan. 1.

Not recommended for children four and under unless carried by an adult. Prefer no dogs. Not stroller accessible. Footwear should be sturdy. If cave exploring, either wear water proof boots or expect that you might get your feet wet about 15 minutes before you return to your vehicle. To find out if canceled, call 573-449-7400.
