Celebrate the beginning of 2018 by coming to the park for a First Day Hike. Deer Run Trail is a moderate 2-3/4-mile hike and takes guests to a scenic bluff view of the Meramec River through oak-hickory bottomland forest. The hike will be led by park staff and will last for approximately two hours.
Meet at the visitor center parking lot to use the restroom and sign up for one of the door prizes. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water and snacks.
Check with park staff in case of inclement weather as the park may not be accessible in certain winter weather conditions. Call the park office for any potential cancellation of the event.
Hike time: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Meeting Location: Visitor Center parking lot
