Celebration of Civilian Conservation Corps Company 1743

In celebration of African American History Month, Washington State Park will host guided bus and walking tours of the work of CCC Company 1743. Company 1743 was an African American Civilian Conservation Corps Company, and its members' work can be seen throughout the park. Park staff will lead these guided tours and discuss the cultural heritage of Company 1743 and its craftsmanship. Tours will be available for each day as listed below. Bus and walking tours last approximately one hour. Walking tours will cover approximately 1 mile over natural surface.

All tours begin at the interpretive center near the north entrance to the park. There are a limited number of slots available for the bus tours, so reservations are required. Reservations are not required for the walking tours.
