Carve out some good times this Halloween season at Echo Bluff State Park! Bring the kids to trick or treat and listen to haunting stories about the Ozarks. This event includes a campsite and cabin decorating contest, a trick or treat parade and a storyteller. Winners of the decorating contest will be announced at the evening storytelling program. Prizes have been donated by the Sinking Creek Mercantile. Storyteller Larry Brown will present haunted tall tales and more at the amphitheater at 8 p.m. For more information, contact Connie Weber at 573-751-1224.
The park’s concessionaire will also host a variety of activities to kick off the day with vendors and crafts of all kinds as well as a haunted hike and s’mores and cider by the fire pit at 9 p.m. For more information about these activities, contact the Betty Lea Lodge at 573-858-3059 or check out their webpage at https://echobluffstatepark.com/events/.
