10/21/2017 | Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site | Ash Grove, MO
Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic is kicking off a new season of "Third Saturdays at the Homestead" starting July 15. Explore and interact with Missouri's frontier past through a variety of hands-on activities. Programs will be hosted at a variety of locations throughout the site and are appropriate for all ages. All events are free and open to the public.
Our biggest event of the year takes a new name (formerly Homestead Days) and time slot! Explore the homestead under the glow of lantern light, hear stories of some spooky Ozark Folklore, interact with period reenactors, and much more.
Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, wear appropriate footwear and bring plenty of water to drink. In the event of inclement weather, events may be canceled.
Event times: 3 p.m. - 9 p.m.
