Saturday, July 22
  • 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. - Nature ID Table
    Come test your skills and talk with park interpreters about items that can be found in the park. Meet at the playground in the campground.
  • 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. - Be Bear Aware
    Learn about the newest resident to Missouri’s forests: black bears. Black bears used to call Missouri home, and are returning to our state slowly but surely. Discover facts about black bears and how you can live in harmony with these amazing animals. Meet at the visitor center.
  • 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. - Tales of Wildhorse Creek
    Have you ever wondered how Wildhorse Creek Road got its name? Join a park interpreter and hear the Legend of Wildhorse Creek and other fun stories. Meet at the campground amphitheater.
Sunday, July 23
  • 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Naturalist Hike
    Come join a park naturalist for a hike on one of the many trails at Babler State Park. Meet at the visitor center.
  • 2 p.m. -3 p.m. - Explorer Hour

    Come learn about the Missouri State Parks Explorer Program and take home a fun craft! Meet at the visitor center.
