Saturday, July 1
  • 10-11 a.m. – Nature ID Table
    Come test your skills and talk with park interpreters about items that can be found in the park. Meet at the playground in the campground.
  • 2-3 p.m. – What Lives in a Creek?
    Bring your water shoes, because we’ll be getting wet as we walk through a creek to discover what kinds of animals live there. Meet across from Walnut Grove Shelter.
  • 7-8 p.m. – Owls: Superheroes of the Forest
    Come join a park naturalist and discover why owls are the superheroes of the forest. Meet at the campground amphitheater   
Sunday, July 2
  • 9:30-10:30 a.m. – Naturalist Hike
    Come join a park naturalist for a hike on one of the many trails at Babler State Park. Meet at the visitor center.
  • 2-3 p.m. – Explorer Hour

    Come learn about the Missouri State Parks Explorer Program and take home a fun craft! Meet at the visitor center.

Monday, July 3
  • 10-11 a.m. – Town Ball
    Everyone’s invited to play a fun game of town ball! This early form of baseball is fun for all ages and a great way to spend the Fourth of July weekend. Meet at the monument field.
