5/20/2017 | St. Joe State Park | Park Hills, MO
Bring the family to the park for a gold old wade in the creek. A park naturalist will lead the way along a quarter-mile stretch of Harris Branch Creek for a close look at part of the park that most visitors don't see. Be prepared to get totally wet. Your shoes should totally cover your feet. Sandals and flip flops are not suitable as the stream bed is both rocky and slippery.
This event is best for children 5 and older. Some parts of the creek could be 2 to 3 feet deep, so small children will need adult assistance.
Event time: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
This event is being held in conjunction with the National Kids to Parks Day, sponsored by the National Park Trust. Click here to view other Kids to Parks Day events in Missouri state parks!
