Discovery Day

5/20/2017 | Lewis and Clark State Park | Rushville, MO

Bring the entire family to the park for fun in the outdoors! Visit the park office and view a two-thirds-size replica keelboat, similar to the one used by the Corps of Discovery on their journey along the Missouri River. Join the park naturalist and explore the trail that leads to the oxbow lake that Captain Clark described in one of his journals. Discover wildflowers and birds along the trail and at the lake. Suggested items to bring include insect repellent, water and binoculars.

For more information about the event, call the park office at 816-579-5564.
