Join park staff and members of the Missouri Atlatl Association in celebration of World Atlatl Day at the Lower Picnic Area in the park. The public is encouraged to help us celebrate the use and technology of these early Native American weapons. In addition, the Missouri Atlatl Association is hosting an international standard accuracy contest, along with Moche toss and other games after 2 p.m.
Preregistration is not required, and no experience is required to participate. For more information, call the park office at 573-546-3476.
