Spring is nearly here! It is time to venture out and see the bison as the prairie begins to wake up after a long slumber. Meet at the Regal Tallgrass Prairie Nature Center for a guided hike. The hike will talk about the prairie and how it is essential for the survival of the bison. Don't forget your cameras! Be prepared for a 2-mile hike over uneven terrain. Bringing water, snacks, a hat and sunscreen, and wearing sturdy shoes is recommended. Binoculars will be useful in looking at bison as well as other wildlife that we may see. Dress for the weather; the prairie winds can be very harsh this time of year.
