Have fun with water and learn about streams and animals that live in streams through activities designed for children and families. Throughout the event, naturalists at several stations will guide participants in activities such as catching aquatic animals in the stream, playing games that teach, using an interactive stream model, finding what watershed you live in and exploring Connor’s Cave. In addition, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, participate in a guided hike of about 3/4 mile to Gans Creek for more water fun and use of nets to catch aquatic animals. This event is free and recommended for ages 4 years and up. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Registration is not necessary.
