Wildlife of Mark Twain Lake

6/18/2016 | Mark Twain State Park | Florida, MO

The lakeside habitat provides fish in the water, beavers building dams, squirrels barking at woodpeckers, owls calling at dusk, foxes, coyotes, and bobcats scavenging for food in the thicket of pines. It is a world we are often blind to. This program is designed to share in the diversity that exists at the park with the interested general public. The park's naturalist will bring animal pelts and more, thus making visitors enjoy learning interesting facts about the creatures that call Mark Twain Lake home.  This program is free. No registration required. All children must be accompanied by an adult.  Meet at the amphitheater in the park’s campground.
