Earth Day for Kids

At this event, kids learn about the ecological web of life - connections between ourselves and the environment - through a scavenger hunt! Visit stations for hands-on learning in sustainable living, including: food growing/organic gardening; pollinator species and native plantings; important connections between cave ecology and mammals; solar energy displays and hands-on solar cell connections; earth plastering in straw bale building; recycling and up-cycling; mutual cooperation; observation and fitness; games and crafts.

Please join us for a fun and relaxed time to learn ways to help the Earth we call home.
