Friday

7 p.m. Campground Amphitheater: Get to Know Washington State Park Program

Join park staff for a town hall style meeting to get to know us and our park. You ask the questions, we’ll have the answers. We will be playing a family-friendly game of park-tionary so be sure to come ready to play! This program will also include things you can do to make your camping experience safer for you and those around you. This program will last approximately one hour.

Saturday

11 a.m., Petroglyph Site: Petroglyph and Glade Tour

This guided interpretive walk highlights two of Washington State Park’s unique features. The walk begins with a tour of the ancient Native American rock carvings and will then venture out into to the glade where visitors will learn about life on this unique landscape. This program will last approximately one hour.

2 p.m., Campground Amphitheater: Bicycle Safety Program

Learn the dos and don’ts of bicycle safety to make riding not only safer, but more enjoyable all around. This program will last approximately one hour.

4 p.m., Thunderbird Lodge: River Bottom Walk

A short hike along 1,000 Step Trail will give guests the chance to view a wide variety of plant life and learn about the history of Washington State Park and the young men who built it. The walk will then lead guests along the edge of the Big River to learn just how important this body of water is to the area around it. This program will last approximately one hour.

6 p.m., Campground Host Site: Bike Decorating

Help us celebrate a very special birthday! Meet at the camp host site to decorate your bike. Some supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring any additional supplies you may want. This program will last approximately one hour.

7 p.m., Campground Host Site: Bike Parade

Show off your newly renovated bike in the bike parade. We will do two laps around the campground and end with a very special birthday celebration for our special guest! This program will last approximately one hour.
