Learning @ 11: What did great, great grandma grow in her garden?

6/9/2015 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

From June 2 through Aug. 22, the Missouri State Museum is once again hosting a fun twist on summer programming. "Learning@11" is a series of interactive programs exploring various aspects of Missouri's cultural and natural history specifically focused on age groups 4 to 7 years using more activity-based programming. For similar-themed programming for older children, please see our regular "Tuesday@2" programs for age groups 8 to 12. The programs are held on the first floor of the State Capitol. Click here to read the news release.

Program time: 11 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

What did great, great grandma grow in her garden?  Learn about the fruits and veggies grown in the 1850s.  You will also get to take home either a flower or vegetable to start your very own garden.
