Connect with nature for a fun and memorable night sleeping under the stars. Visitors wishing to spend the night should bring their own tents, sleeping bags and personal items. Attendees are also welcome to spend the evening and then head home at 10 p.m. The schedule for the evening will include:
3 p.m. – Overnight camper registration and camp set up/basics of camping
4 p.m. – Nature hike/hiking basics
5 p.m. – Cooking in the outdoors and crafts for kids
6 p.m. – Supper around the campfire
7 p.m. – S’mores and campfire stories
8 p.m. – Night hike
9 p.m. – The Night Sky
10 p.m. – Quiet time
6 a.m. – Early morning hike
7 a.m. – Cooking in the outdoors part 2
8 a.m. – Breakfast
9 a.m. – End of event
Attendees must preregister by 3 p.m. on June 26. Overnight attendees will be required to pay a $2 per person camping fee. All attendees will be asked to bring a designated food item to contribute to the menu. Food items will be assigned when attendees register.
