Local amateur astronomers will have their telescopes set up so you can learn about the night sky. Five solar system planets will be visible this weekend, including elusive Mercury. View all five and pick your favorite. Stars, constellations and plenty more things will be visible to choose from under the moonless sky.
Bring something to sit on. Insect repellent is recommended. This event will be canceled if the sky is overcast or it is raining. The backup date will be May 25. To find out if event is canceled or rescheduled, please go to the Knob Noster State Park Facebook page.
