6/7/2014 | Prairie State Park | Mindenmines, MO
Bison babies and wildflowers are plentiful at this time of year! This should be a great time to get some photos of both. Don't forget your cameras! Be prepared for a 2-mile hike over uneven terrain. Bringing water, snacks, insect repellent, a hat and sunscreen and wearing sturdy shoes is recommended. Binoculars will be useful in looking at bison as well as other wildlife that you may see.
Hike time: 10 a.m.- noon
