POSTPONED - Water Trail Ribbon-Cutting

This event is postponed due to high water on Stockton Lake.  A new date will be posted when it is rescheduled.

Join Missouri State Parks in celebrating the grand opening of a new water trail at Stockton State Park on Saturday, Aug. 10. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Marina Trailhead. After the ceremony, visitors will have the opportunity to log miles paddling as part of the Governor’s 100 Missouri Miles Challenge. The new 6.5-mile water trail at Stockton State Park follows the shoreline and provides the opportunity to enjoy the park and Stockton Lake by canoe, kayak or other watercraft. After the ceremony, visitors are invited to paddle out and enjoy the new water trail. A limited number of kayaks and canoes will be available for rent.
