Spring Nature Hike

This spring nature hike along the boardwalk will showcase the early spring wildflowers and flowering trees of bottomland forests and swamps in the park. We will also look for numerous birds, mushrooms and other wildlife during the approximately one-hour hike.  The nature hike will begin at the Big Oak Tree Interpretive Center parking lot and proceed along the elevated boardwalk. Total distance traveled will be about 1.5 miles.  Bring your binoculars, cameras and sense of adventure for this fun-filled morning. Click here to read the news release.
