10/28/2011 | Ha Ha Tonka State Park | Camdenton, MO
This is Ha Ha Tonka State Park’s 20th annual Ha Ha Haunt. Come to the park for this free, family-friendly Halloween activity. The quarter-mile trail from the parking lot to the castle ruins will be lined with jack-o'-lanterns carved by Camdenton Elementary students. The students compete in several categories at the local school to see who can carve the best jack-o'-lantern then display them at Ha Ha Haunt. At the castle ruins, you can make a s’more over a campfire and enjoy hot chocolate. Kids can do a Halloween craft, get a bag of treats, and try their hand at a beanbag toss to win a prize. The castle lawn will be full of decorations that are always fun to look at and take pictures with.
