Come to the park for a day of fun, earth-friendly activities to celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day! There will be lots of “tree”rific things to do, such as paper-making, recycle relays, trivia challenges, recycled crafts and interesting exhibits about Earth Day, Arbor Day and the designation by the United Nations General Assembly of 2011 as the Year of the Forest. To celebrate the importance of trees in nature and our lives, free trees will be available for you to take home. Trees will be in limited supply, so plan to attend early.
