Landing After Hours: From Steamboats to Space

11/5/2025 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

Missouri has long stood at the crossroads of innovation, especially in the field of transportation. From the steamboat era to the Space Age, transportation has been a powerful force in the state’s development. Likewise, transportation development in Missouri has had a profound impact on both regional and national history.

Join museum interpreter Princess Garner for a dynamic journey through time as we explore Missouri’s role in the evolution of American transportation. This presentation will touch on historic moments, surprising connections, and the people who helped move the world forward.
