Landing After Hours: The Conjuring of Scary Stories

Come join our museum coven in their lair for some Halloween fun on Monday, Oct. 28! We will be reading traditional American scary stories from Alvin Schwartz’s “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark,” as well as some Ozarks-based stories, plus the story of Missouri’s own Witch Queen Bevers. We will also have some Halloween-themed crafts and potions experiments. The lair will be set up in the Lohman Building classroom of Jefferson Landing State Historic Site at 100 Jefferson St.

This event is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. Halloween costumes are welcome!
