Seniors to Parks: Birding and Birdhouses

6/5/2024 | Sandy Creek Covered Bridge State Historic Site | Hillsboro, MO

Senior citizens are invited to learn about birding in this free program. An interpreter will give a talk about birding and will hand out local birding resources. Afterward, participants will have the opportunity to assemble and paint their own birdhouses. Participants will be able to take home their birdhouses and some bird feed. Light refreshments will be provided.

This program is made possible by the Seniors to Parks grant, which aims to help senior citizens experience Missouri state parks and historic sites.
