5/14/2024 | Katy Trail State Park
See Katy Trail State Park on a tram tour! Senior citizens can experience Katy Trail State Park from the comfort of a tram coach during the Tuesdays on the Trail tours, a series of tram tours at various locations along the trail. The tours are round trip and last approximately two hours. A variety of routes offer visitors a chance to see stretches of the trail they may not be able to experience otherwise.
The May 14 tours will take visitors from Pilot Grove to Clifton City and back. There will be a morning tour and an afternoon tour, each hosting approximately 50 people. An interpretive guide with a PA system will give a presentation on the history of the Katy Trail and will provide commentary on natural and cultural features along the way. Snacks and bottled water will be offered to each participant.
Tours are free, but space is limited and registration is required. Reservations for the May 14 tours open on April 2.
To reserve your seat, contact the park office at 573-449-7402 or visit our reservation page.
