Guided Bird Walk

5/18/2024 | Lewis and Clark State Park | Rushville, MO

Spring is here, and migration is going strong. Lewis and Clark State Park gets a variety of birds that pass through on their way north, and many birds call the park home and stay here to nest. Come on out and get acquainted with our fine feathered friends on a guided bird walk.

We will depart from the park office at 9 a.m. for a walk of approximately 1 mile on Gosling Lake Trail. Gosling Lake Trail consists of gravel and paved surfaces and is considered easy. Participants should dress for the weather, bring water, and use sunscreen and insect repellent.

This program is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be canceled.

For more information, contact us at 816-640-5443.

Walk time: 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.
