2/1/2024 to 2/11/2024 | Felix Vallé House State Historic Site | Ste. Genevieve, MO
Valentine's Day has been celebrated many different ways throughout its history. One of the most iconic styles of valentine cards, vinegar valentines, originated in the 19th century. Paper filigree; elaborate ribbons; and funny, sometimes snarky, poems marked the ideal valentine for that specific someone.
Stop by the interpretive room of the Shaw House to make your own valentine card while supplies last. Whether your card is sweet or vinegar is up to you.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
