Learn more about birds through this activity! Birds have different types of beaks that allow them to tear, scoop, crack or pick. Participants will have "fill the bill" stations with different tools to pick up various types of "bird food" to find out which bird beaks are best for different habitats. Each bird is perfectly adapted to its own habitat's basic food, water, shelter and space to raise its young. Find out which birds you may have in your area.
This event is free and open to the public. It will take place at the nature center. For more information, call the nature center at 417-532-3925.
