As the Capitol Stone Project construction nears completion, it is necessary to close the south entrance to the Capitol and the media parking lot. The south entrance will close Sept. 28, 2020, and reopen around Nov. 30.

- Public entrance will be relocated to the first floor west doors.
- Staff entry is available at the first floor east and west doors.
- Accessible entrance will be located at the east garage entrance.
- Accessible parking is available on West Capitol Avenue on north side of the Capitol Building.
- Emergency egress is located at all east, west and south doors.
Pedestrian guidance signage will be placed at strategic locations around the Capitol to direct visitors to the upper west fourth floor entrance and to the accessible entrance on the east side of the Capitol.
