The recreation area is temporarily closed until further notice.
Campers with reservations through June 30 will be contacted regarding their refund.
MoDOT will have portions of Route A off of Hwy. 54 closed in Camden County for construction. The closure is past the access point on Route A for Ozark Caverns and McCubbins Point, so these areas remain open and accessible during construction.
Construction is anticipated to be complete by July 4.
The following areas are temporarily closed until further notice due to flooding or flood clean up:

-- 4 picnic sites below the Table Rock Lake Shore Trail
The bike crossing at the pond spillway on White Connector 2 of the White River Valley Trail System currently is closed due to erosion. Trail users will need to use the stepping stones to cross the spillway.
Access to the park is temporarily blocked while the Bank Branch Creek bridge is being replaced. Park visitors must access the park using Hwy 54 to Route D through at least mid-August.

The courtesy dock near the Hermitage area campground boat ramp is temporarily closed due to flood damage until further notice.
The following areas are temporarily closed until further notice due to flooding:

-- water and modern restrooms are currently not available at Shelter #2
-- All trails are open but hikers and equestrian users may experience wet surfaces and flood debris in some low lying areas.
All other areas of the park are open under normal operations.
Dam renovations are currently in progress and expected to be completed by the end of the of year. Until the lake project is completed, the swim beach will NOT be maintained or operated. There is limited water access at the boat ramp. Boating activities and all other water activities including canoe and kayak rentals may be impaired due to low water levels and muddy conditions. Please check water levels as they continue to recede with the ongoing renovations.
The equestrian trail in Gans Creek Wild Area is open for hiking and equestrian use from June 1, 2017 through October 31, 2017. Bicycles and other mechanized equipment are not allowed in the wild area. Please check the trails hot line 573-442-2249 during wet periods. Trails are closed to equestrian use when trails are muddy.
Due to overhead work on the southbound bridge of U.S. Route 63, located at MM 146, trail users may experience intermittent delays until the project is complete.
Please be patient and follow all signals and guidance from the construction crew in this area.
The marina parking lot and Mississippi River boat ramp is temporarily closed due to flood cleanup.
All other areas of the park are open under normal operations including the Mississippi River Campground.
The park is open from the entrance to the lower picnic area (near the Meramec River).

All other areas of the park are open under normal on-season operations.
The swimming beach at Finger Lakes State park is closed for the 2017 season to allow for dam renovations.
Campgrounds 1, 2 and Equestrian are open. There is not a showerhouse available at campground 1. Extra port-a-potties have been brought in. Equestrian campers should note there are some trail closures; check with park staff on arrival for more information.
Due to a failed culvert, the section of the Loop Road near the ponds is temporarily closed to vehicular traffic. The historic site is still accessible to vehicular traffic via the main road.
