Please be advised that the westbound Highway 54/63 bridge over the Missouri River is scheduled to be closed from April 29 through - August 29, 2016. Detour information may be found at the following MODOT link: http://www.modot.org/central/MORiverBridgeJC.htm
Due to construction on the Highway 215 bridge over Stockton Lake, certain areas under the bridge are closed to boat traffic. “No Wake” boat traffic is still allowed under the bridge, but only in designated areas. Please follow the buoys and signs posted in the lake. This will impact the Stockton State Park Water Trail and caution should be taken when paddling beneath the bridge.
A small section of the boardwalk of the Devil's Ice Box Trail that leads to the overlook behind the Rock Bridge is temporarily closed for repair.
Weather permitting, the section of Hwy. 185 between Sullivan and the entrance to Meramec State Park will be closed for construction April 25 - 29, 2016. Visitors are encouraged to call the park, (573) 468-6072, prior to their visit for the most up-to-date information on road closure status. Due to a major waterline break, the Equestrian Campground and Day-Use Area Shelters 2 and 3 are currently experiencing water issues. These areas remain open but water is not available. Water is available to all guests in other areas of the park. Guests who would like to continue use of these locations should bring water with them or containers that can be filled at other locations in the park.
Due to wet conditions, Opossum Hollow Trail is temporarily closed to bicyclists and McAdoo Trail is temporarily closed to equestrian use. The trails will be re-checked on April 30.
Park trails are temporarily closed to equestrian and bicycle use due to muddy conditions. The soonest they may reopen is May 3rd.

The CCC Shelter area and trail access to the shelter is temporarily closed due to a water system renovation project. Area is expected to re-open by May 30.
The restrooms at Shelter B are temporarily closed for repairs.
All trails in Prairie State Park will be closed daily from 4 p.m. to 9 a.m. through April 30, 2016. These temporary closures aid in the protection of the greater prairie chicken. Hiking is allowed from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
Park visitors should be alert to shallow water levels at the Pa He Tsi boat ramp.
The far left lane of the Grand Glaize Beach boat launch remains temporarily closed.
All other boat ramps are open under normal operating hours.
The ORV riding area will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016. The Leadbelt National Enduro will be held during that time.
