First Day Hike

1/1/2025 | Cuivre River State Park | Troy, MO

Start off the new year with a 1.5-mile hike on Hamilton Hollow Trail. We will meet at the trailhead near the CCC Stone Shelter at 10 a.m.

This hike will cover the length of Hamilton Hollow Trail and will also include a short detour to view a spring. Hamilton Hollow Trail consists of natural surfaces and is considered moderately difficult. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, bring water, and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes.

This event is free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages. Pets are welcome but must remain on leash no longer than 10 feet at all times. The hike is subject to cancellation due to rain or lightning. If it is canceled, a notice will be posted on the park's Facebook page and on the Park and Site Status Map.
