Burn Ban in Effect at Roaring River State Park Until Further Notice
A Stage 2 burn ban is in effect for Roaring River State Park, in conjunction with a countywide burn ban for Barry County. This restriction prohibits all outdoor fires, including campfires, and other open-flame conditions. It includes solo stoves and propane fire pits. The ban will remain in place until further notice.
Gas lanterns, contained charcoal fires with cover, and liquid- and gas-fueled stoves remain authorized.
