8/26/2023 | Bennett Spring State Park | Lebanon, MO
Aug. 26 is International Bat Night. Join park staff to learn about the largest and smallest bats in the world. A focus of this program will be on how bats have played a major role in farming throughout Missouri history.
The event will begin at 9 p.m. with a presentation in the nature center; this will be followed by a hike outdoors to the spring. Bats can often be seen in this area, drawn by insects living in and near the spring.
Participants must bring a flashlight and wear closed-toe shoes.
