Join members of the Onondaga Friends Association for a night time hike up Deer Run Trail to take a tour of Cathedral Cave. The Onondaga Friends Association will offer several of these tours throughout the season. At approximately 9:15p.m. (more specifically, immediately following the evening program), meet at the woodlot next to host site #66 in the campground. Listen to the sounds of the night as you head up the trail to the cave's entrance.
The fee for the tour will be $10 per person; reservations can be made in advance by visiting their website at www.onondagafriends.org. Some flashlights will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring your own flashlight. These events are first come, first serve and are limited to the first 30 participants. It is an approximate 1/3-mile hike on the trail to Cathedral Cave, so wear sturdy shoes; flip flops or heels are not recommended.
Tour time: 9:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
