Museum After Hours: "Holy Joe" Folk, Governor of Missouri

1/3/2018 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

Lawyer Joseph W. "Holy Joe" Folk's reputation as a reformer and buster of “boodlers” launched him into the national spotlight. His anti-corruption stance won him a single term as Missouri’s governor in 1905-1909. Join museum director, Tiffany Patterson, as she explores the life and work of one of Missouri’s forgotten governors.

The Missouri State Museum’s “Museum after Hours” events are held the first Wednesday of each month when the museum galleries remain open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
