Hike and Hot Chocolate

12/27/2024 | Mastodon State Historic Site | Imperial, MO

You can still enjoy the outdoors during winter! We will walk along the 0.5-mile Wildflower Trail and talk about how various organisms in the park react to the winter weather. Afterward, we will warm up with some hot chocolate. This hike is for all ages – just be sure to come dressed for the weather!

This program will start and end at the museum entrance, located at 1050 Charles J. Becker Drive in Imperial. Wildflower Trail is a moderately difficult loop trail with natural and boardwalk surfaces, including stairs.

This is a free interpretive program, but registration is required. To register, click here or call the site office at 636-464-2976.

Hike time: 2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
