Join us on Saturday, Oct. 5, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Bennett Spring State Park! This event will feature live music, storytelling, food trucks, vendors and a car show. Historical exhibits at Shelter B and the nature center, as well as Civilian Conservation Corps reenactors between Shelter B and the spring branch, will highlight the history of the park since its birth in 1924. The celebration with end with a movie night on the lawn next to Shelter B, starting at 6:30 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public, and there is no need to register. Guests planning to attend the movie are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.

- 1-3 p.m. – gospel bluegrass music from Red Letter Edition
- 4-6 p.m. – bluegrass music from Lindley Creek

- All day – Dutch oven cooking demonstrations

- 6:30-8:30 p.m. – movie night: "A River Runs Through It"
Nature center
- 1-1:45 p.m. – "Magic Waters and Silver Dollars: A History of Ozarks Tourism," presentation by Dr. Brooks Blevins, the Noel Boyd professor of Ozarks studies at Missouri State University
